Private Gated RV Camping Clubs

The other day we visited some friends at a private gated RV club park, looked good for a home base in Washington State.
It was kind of woodsey and my DW's allergies went nuts but we can adjust our travel for that.
Do any of you know of "Private Camping Clubs" ie Membership camping ?
I don't mean Good Sam or a short term stop over-already belong to three of them.
Seems all I have found are on indian land which is OK, but last week we were ready to write a check ($2,500) but found out the lease with the tribe was only good for 3 more years, at which time all contracts were cancelled and you had 15 days to vacate the land.

Larry,

Those things are like falling into a pale of fish hooks, you are going to feel pain.
You need to read the fine print(all of it) and under stand the risk.

Larry:

We've heard that Fidalgo Bay RV park has some full-time residents in permanently moored RVs. Might be worth checking for the "home base" you are seeking. The place is actually owned by the Swinomish Tribe, not leased.

It's pretty open, so Rita's allergies shouldn't be a problem. It can get windy, but it's a nice spot with views of the bay, some of the nearby San Juans and Mount Baker. The turnoff from SR20 Spur is just after the lights where the spur starts.

Hi Larry & Rita,
What part of the country do you prefer to be in?

Consider going to http://www.irv2.com/forums/f59/anyon...ml#post1552179 and read my posts for questions to ask.
