Not all kids are this clueless, the video is made for humor.
However, if you were mandated to pass tests on this stuff in order to be able to use Facebook, there wouldn't be a problem.
See I've got the solution.....

I like that! Every time you log online there would be pop quiz you must pass before using it. "What is the capital of Nebraska?" "Who is the Commander -in-Chief?" "How many eggs in three dozen?" "Spell 'Perspicacity'."

I can handle the capital of Nebraska and how many amendments are in the Bill of Rights, and so on...

but what if they ask "where did you leave your reading glasses?" or "what day of the week is this?"

It is easy to forget when "we" were 17---I just wonder how smart we appeared to our elders? I'm thinking it is fortunate we did not have "You Tube" then.

The RV photo proves some of us could not escape our teen years.

While this is true, how many of your classmates would have said Hitler or Stalin or Goebbels was the Vice President?

How many would have not known about the Revolutionary War?

Did you notice the boy who thought the words "Korean War" was a joke? As though he'd never heard of it... perhaps he never had.

I can think of several ways that RV could have ended up there... All however boil down to "You can't regulate stupid"

you can fine stupid, you can bill him (And I'm sure some tower did) you can make his life harder and harder.. But

Well "Intelligence has it's limits, Stupidity knows no bounds"

AND NO U TURN, means just what it says.

I remember one day on the freeway, traffic backed up, I'm listening to the truckers, on the other side of the freeway there are not one, nor two, but FOUR Michigan State Police cars writing tickets to folks using the "Authorized Vehicle Only" turn around to make U-turns.

But idiots were still lining up to get ticketed.

Me,,,, I made it through the back up to the next exit (Which was my exit) laughing at the idiots all the way.

Used to be a college professor. I saved money like mad so I could retire early. The start of each Fall term was extremely exasperating and depressing -- there were always, without fail, hundreds of newly- minted high school graduates who had to go straight into remedial courses.

I can use this video as evidence that the war on education is going great! Just think how stupid the population will be once schools are privatized and only those who can afford $20K+/yr/kid will be educated.

Given that potential future, I expect to see pull-troughs in the medians all along the interstate!

I didn't watch the tape---didn't feel I needed to I get the point.

My classmates? Hitler, Stalin, Goebbels, sure thing. But then some may have guessed; Julius Caesar to be number one on the Lucky Strike hit parade, Marco Polo; $7.50 to show at Aqueduct. I attended my 50th class reunion last year and most of those I figured would be better off if they just stopped breathing actually have done quite well. Some, I'm sure believed the same of me.

One person in the thread suggested that the tape was a gag---could it be that they are having the last laugh? I know I just refuse to give up on youth or make too many judgments because of one tape or even these kids one performance.

I note they are from Olympia Washington, forty miles south of where Microsoft, Google and Fed Ex were created. They may know more than they portray; I think so.

The guy in the RV, old enough to know better.
