Propane Costs?

What are you paying for propane per gallon where you are?

This is pretty close ... look in "propane" column for your location ... you can filter by state.

$2.45 in NC. We went to a propane company instead of RV park. Saved considerably. Parks are charging around $3.99.

I don't know about other Camping Worlds, but in Vacaville, CA, on tues and weds, GS members can buy propane for $1.99 per gal. I had been taking advantage of that(10 mi. drive for us, and usually on the way somewhere). Last Wed, i brought in my two 5 gl. tanks and the diligent dispenser guy decided to read my tank dates and they were over 12 yrs. old, so no fill. Two weeks ago, I took in 6 tanks and they filled them w/o a hitch. I think the trick is to clean them good so they look relatively new so they won't bother reading the date.

Camping World in Ft. Myers had a Good Sam's half off on Tues or Wed. I don't know if they are running the same special for 2014, but might be.
