Propane fades out

I filled my propane tank 3 trips ago. This trip I set up and tried to use my outside grill. It would start but didn't stay running. It would fade out after a couple of minutes. I checked the stove and it also did the same thing. I suspected the regulator and valves outside but he inside stove does the same thing. The emergency shut off is on. Also went under the coach and checked the gauge to see if maybe it was empty but it is full. Any suggestions are welcome.

Sounds like the full flow safety valve has been tripped. Some times called a line burst valve , it's a safety built into the tank shut off and can be triggered by opening the supply valve too quickly. Turn the supply valve on the tank off, make sure all propane appliances are off, and open the valve very slowly, back pressure in the system keeps the valve open. Then retest all you appliances.

I tried that and discovered the solenoid clicking. When I move the wires it clicks so I think I have a short. Going back under to check. Thank you for the tip.

Solenoid? What solenoid? If this an older model coach that still has the propane shut-off connected to the LP detector?

FIXED! the solenoid for the emergency shut off was clicking. I traced the wires and found the butt connector was corroded. I repaired the connection. All appliances work fine including the grill.

Good job. And glad to see you reported the solution.
You may want to include your rig info in your signature. It may help others help you.
