Somewhere on this forum was a video of a motorhome, pulling a Jeep, that was towing a popup camper.

Second bedroom I suppose.

Denise and I witnessed a family in one of those Ford Van concoctions designed for pulling a 5er as it passed us. Van with what looked like a husband, wife and three youngsters, pulling a very large and beautiful 5er, pulling a flat bed with 5 ATVs pulling a +/- 24 foot boat. I was doing around 60 and it took him a few minutes to pass us.

No idea of why they were traveling that way but they looked like they were enjoying themselves. The wife and kids all waved a they went by and everyone was smiling. It 'tweren't my cup of traveling tea but whatever floats your boat; as the saying goes.

I am investigating it too as most of my haunts allow up to 65'

and my 5er is coming with a built in hitch (IIRC 3000 lbs)
so looking for SHORT electric vehicle

I think the law in some states that allow for the towing of double trailers, includes words to the effect, that the front trailer has to be a fifth wheel. Anyway I notice these rigs and wonder about them, but when I think about it I don't see any unusual number of them in wrecks or incidents so maybe they are okay.

I couldn't care less EXCEPT...

The 2 times I have been passed by one of these set ups I got the crap scared out of me! One was whipsawing so bad I could see it when they were 1/4 mile behind me so I pulled well to the right and slowed down to let them pass. The second nearly took my left front corner out as the boat whipped into my lane because the driver was jerky on the wheel.

OH...the first one was easily doing 70 with a 20 MPH cross wind.

Electric vehicles don't run well with shorts..

In states that allow triple towing = 1 tractor + 3 trailers interstate towing only.
Very very short distance only if allowed off the Interstate, most times need to drop one trailer on ramp or nearest rest area.

Yes it was the bobbing and swaying that first got my attention. Thanks goodness 501 has some wide paved strips on both sides, because they needed them. Heaven forbid a big semi passes them.
