Quartzsite 2018

We're planning our first rip to Quartzsite this year. I've read lots of what's on the web. The question I have is what are differences in the various BLM sites in terms of the types of people who tend to use each of these sites (party, off-road, quite, etc.)?

Just about anything you can think of. From old, new, rebuilt, trashed together, small, large, any shape and size. Large groups, small groups, singles, party type, quiet type, old, young, rich, poor, nude. That is Q BLM lands, some free, some low cost.

Len pretty much nailed it. One thing to consider is that LaPosa south has a dump station and fresh water fill on site along with dumpsters. Many of the others you'll have to go to town and pay to dump and fill. The sticker there is $40.00 for 14 days and may be a good place to start if you've not been to Q. There's several areas that are free but the above applies and you have to move every 14 days if you go the free route. Try one area and scout the others would be my recommendation. Have fun-we won't be there until first part of January.

With the above comments, now you know why we stay in commercial campgrounds. Our wild day are over, however I sure love the "people show".
