Quartzsite Question
The DW & will be headed to Quartzsite this year for the first time. Unfortunately for me, my back went out last week, so I’m not sure how much walking & standing I’ll be able to do. Does anyone know if there is an electric mobility scooter rental at the venue or anywhere else in town?
Thanks!

"Gadget Man"......I don't recall seeing a place that rents them, but I could be mistaken. I have a bad back and have to limit my walking. There are several places to park. The big tent, on the east side, has parking that is pretty close to the tent gate. Your wife could drop you off close by and park, if there isn't something up front.
The west side of the big tent area, has a street dividing the big tent area from all of the swap meet parking. On the west side and north side of the swap meet area is some parking.
Heck, you can probably get a pretty good deal at one of the booths and buy a cheap scooter.
A lot of the sights to see, there are vendors scattered throughout town, but all are places you can drive to and do a short walk.
Good luck on your back, I'll be the big guy hobbling around with a knee brace on.

Last year, there were mobility rentals in the area Don mentioned. I believe it was just west of Hwy 95, along Kuehn St.

There's also a scooter store on Main St, just east of 95, which is where the stop light is

There is a scooter rental at the corner of US 95 (Central Ave) and Kuehn St. It is about 2 blocks northeast of the big tent and on the east side of Tyson Wells exhibit area.

Thank you for the info on the mobility scooters at Quartzite. Does anyone know how far in advance I need to make reservations. This is for next year.
We don't have our B+ yet.

Depends on how you prefer to camp. If you like to boondock on BLM land, no reservations needed. If you want a CG with full hook-up’s, I’d say at least six months. We didn’t decide to go until last November. The DW likes full hook-up’s. I called 12 different CG’s before I found one with a vacancy.
