Question about awning rails.

Our awning rails usually standard equipment on a travel trailer when purchased new ? Or, should the awning rail have been included in my new awning purchase?

The awning attachment rail , wouldn't necessarily be standard equipment , depends on the TT manufacturer .
But if you ordered an awning, I'm pretty sure it should come with one .
Nothing on the parts sheet about it ?

There was no parts list included in the package that I received. The instructions were not in the package either. From what I can figure by looking at the parts I did receive and how to install it , there appears to be hardware that's required that is also missing . Worst experience I've had in a long time with customer service ( Lippert components) and this just tops it off. I appreciate your reply , but there was no parts list included

LCI's corporate strategy seems to be " buy up all the competition " if you're the only game in town you don't have to give a ....; people have to buy from you and pay your price.

As you may be able to tell , I've been down the road with those { self edit}!

The rails aren't normally with the trailer unless it has a factory awning package.

Whether the rail comes with an aftermarket awning package varies. Typically a kit is called a "replacement" if there are no rails, but there is no standard that I'm aware of.

And I agree with Skip: Lippert is infamous for low-ball products and cheaply made stuff, made viable solely because they bought out the competition. Respectable products soon go to hell once LCI buys them up and "improves" them.
