Question about buying deeded RV lot

ok, so I have bought a few houses through out my life.....but never property/land, or something like a deeded RV spot. So my question is, if I am looking at a spot for purchase in a community....how would I determine the market value? With homes, you can get comparison properties and recent sales in the area from you real estate agent. But wondered if that is possible with Rv lots? In addition, the Rv lot may have a cover/carport, small house or storage building. So is it just a matter of free market, and much you are willing to pay? Any advice appreciated!,,

Cheers,
Tom

Look up recent sales in the county tax assessors office web site.
There will probably be more than one for sale so you should be able do comps.
Check with a local RV dealer, they might have a clue.
Remember that you will have HOA fees and maybe assessments just like a condo.
You should have a title exam just like buying a home and will probably have to pay cash.
What is your reason for buying vs renting?

I'm looking around Texas, and unlike some states, not sure prior sales of property are public knowledge. The reason for looking at buying, is we will be home basing around the area for years to come, with some family in the area. So it seems it may be cheaper to have a place our own, where we can store some items, keep a second car, and perhaps have a small cabin or villa home.....but be able to come and go as we see fit to travel!
Cheers

Prices are all over the place. There is no standard even within one park. Name your price and someone might fall for it.

The county tax records are online for most. Do a search for the tax assessor or treasure.
Here is Hidalgo Co.
