Smile Question from newbie

We want to spend two weeks close to Sedona Arizona mid March. Can anyone tell me if that is a busy time with Rvers? Do I need to reserve a camping spot for my 27 ft 5er?
Also was conisdering staying at Rio Verde camp - any comments on that site?

Thanks everyone for any help! This will be our first trip!

March would be a fairly busy time for Sedona because all the Phoenix-area snowbirders are heading north. That said, it's not impossible to get a site - unreserved.

I'm quite sure you could get one at Dead Horse Ranch State Park in nearby Cottonwood. They have plenty of sites It's an easy scenic drive to Sedona and it's very convenient to visit many other places such as Jerome and Prescott. We love that park! It has big spaces and electric but not sewer. They do have dump station.

Try the Flagstaff KOA...we stayed there and it was nice. It about 15 to 20 minute scenic drive to Sedona......
