Hi
Does any one have experience with a strong wheel quick release as a option for anti theft.

Wow, that's one I have never heard on an RV forum . A race shop is exactly where to go but adapting may be an issue.

remember the steering wheel contains the airbag. it is quite dangerous to play with that unless you know what you're doing. Never mind the loss of the airbag with the quick release steering wheel Im not even sure it would be street legal in some states.

wouldn't it be cheaper and simpler to just use a Wheel lock-chock?

Race cars do not have turn signals, cruise control stereo controls or anything else on their steering columns so if your coach has any of these it is going to be a tough conversion. Probably cheaper and certainly easier to just install a hidden fuel pump cutout or ignition defeat.

Are you planning on going to Rio de Janiero? Why so concerned with theft deterrents?

There are many ways to disable a newer car.

Simplest is to locate either a fuse for engine control or fuel pump and hide a switch.

Many aftermarket alarms likely to have that option.

Also can place switch inline with starter.

Just locate the park switch under the column and switch it.
