remember the steering wheel contains the airbag. it is quite dangerous to play with that unless you know what you're doing. Never mind the loss of the airbag with the quick release steering wheel Im not even sure it would be street legal in some states.

Race cars do not have turn signals, cruise control stereo controls or anything else on their steering columns so if your coach has any of these it is going to be a tough conversion. Probably cheaper and certainly easier to just install a hidden fuel pump cutout or ignition defeat.
Are you planning on going to Rio de Janiero? Why so concerned with theft deterrents?
