Rallies

Being newbies, we haven't a clue as to when and where rallies are held and I, for one, would love to get in and meet folks and participate in some of this fun! Escapades in Tucson is a stone throw away and we won't go (maybe for the day) because its already sold out and boondocking is only fun in the forest!! Had we known when it was happening, we would have been the first in line. Help a gal out here!

Hi AZGypsie,
To find out about rallies, in advance consider:
1. join the organization
2. subscribe to their publications

There are many, many different organizations one can join. To name a few:
1. Good Sam
2. Fleetwood Owners Club (do they have one?)
3. FMCA
4. Passport America
5. KOA
6. Escapees
7. The list goes on.

Rallies are usually associated with clubs or associations such as Good Sams or FMCA. You can check their web sites for schedules.

Sorry you'll miss Escapade in Tucson. Come in with full water and empty tanks and you can surely survive for four days.

Thank you for you responses. I didn't realize these were club oriented, which makes sense in retrospect! We belong to Good Sam, and will look into others.

If you like Good Sam, you'll LOVE FMCA. But to really enjoy either or both, pick carefully, then join one or more of their local clubs. National level is about administration & marketing, local level is about having fun with like-minded RVers.

I see you own a Flair. Join FMA, then check out THIS POST I made about upcoming FMA rallies.

How is it one careless match can start a forest fire but it takes a whole box to start a campfire?

Thanks again, everyone. I did join FMA and if possible, we will go to the rally in April. The National iRV2 will probably not see us this year, but maybe later on. Thanks for the info!!
