Well, it sounds like an awful lot of money to me, but I suppose it depends on how much you like the available membership campgrounds and what the typical rates are in the areas you travel. Membership systems seem to be something you either love or hate.
I think, though, if your objective was to get access to Thousand Trails & Leisure Time systems, you probably could have bought in for much less. There are often resales available and also new memberships in parks that are offering steep promotional discounts. They may be parks that have proven to be unpopular for whatever reason, but you won't care if you use your membership to always go to
other member parks anyway.
I'm curious that you bought in and then asked here for input. Wouldn't it have been better to ask first? Or can you stll get your $4000 back?
