Rear view camera on GPS

Got a Rand McNally RVND 7720 gps for Christmas. It has a video in plugt on the side. the Rand McNally says:
Video Input
Connect to optional back-up or rear-view camera.
Note: When a camera is connected, tap the camera icon in the upper
left corner of the map screen to view.

I am looking for a video camera I can install on the rear bumper of my truck to use when hooking up or when backing.

Thanks
Paul

I also bought the 7720, got it last week. You might have to contact Rand McNally and see what they recommend. I probably won't use the connection as we already have a camera and screen built in.

I put a rear view camera on my 2008 Silverado that displayed on the factory Nav screen. The camera mounted on the screws that hold the license plate on. It was activated by shifting to reverse, turning the turn signals on or pressing the window lock button 4 times. Had another camera on the back of the TT. They both ran through an A/B switch. Got both cameras off ebay. I have terrible depth perception. The cameras helped a lot and made hooking up the TT a one person job.

Hipshot, did you install that yourself? I have a post similar to this one, but if I could get the camera hooked up to the in dash display on my 2010 Armada, that might be best. I like the idea of a manual way to turn on the rear camera. My Armada has the camera built in, but only comes on in reverse. I'd like to add a camera to the back of our TT and be able to switch to it when backing and changing lanes like you can.
