I was heartened during my recent trip to and from WDW. I saw more RV's on the road than I had seen in several years. Lots of sleek full body painted monsters pulling their toads or trailers. Does this mean the industry is pulling itself up?

I was dis-heartened on the same trip when my DW Judy fell out of our golf cart, hit her head on a rail fence, and fell to the concrete breaking her left arm. She was in the hospital for six days from Christmas Eve to New Years Eve-Eve. Surgery including a couple of pins, a screw and a rod patched her back together so she could survive the remeinder of our Disney vacation, albeit in much pain and resting most of the time. We are back home now, but she has a 6-8 month healing period to go through.

Sorry to hear about your wife, I hope she will be fine. I live in AZ and it seems to me I have seen alot more MH this year than last. I hope this is a trend.

One of my rough rules of thumb is that RV use and the Dow Jones are roughly in direct proportion. The dow and my portfolio has been going up for close to two years now so I would guess this might be a good year for people to buy and use RVs.

Ken,

I'm so sorry to hear about Judy's accident and the broken arm she'll be mending over the next several months. My heart goes out for her; Sylvia and I will be keeping her in our prayers and we'll pray that the break heals up to as good as it was before if not better. I know this accident will make yours and her difficult task of taking care of the 'Angels' even more difficult than it ever was but in His overall wisdom God has a reason for everything that happens. Y'all stay tough and it'll be fine.

If I recall correctly, you, Judy and the 'Angels' have attended three of our National Rallys, in Sevierville 2006, in Branson 2007, and in Perrin 2008 and enjoyed each one. I sincerly hope this accident won't prevent y'all from attending your fourth rally this year; I wish the best to all of you.
