$20 for an electric heater? No wonder it is being recalled, probably put together with junk parts. It also reminds me of the saying, "you get what you pay for".

You can't judge something by it's price or the store it is sold at..

In 1999 I bought two electric space heaters from the local "Dented Can" grocery store for $19.99 each..

They have a variable thermostat and a fan. One of these heaters will keep an average 10 x 12 room very comfortable.

They are still working great, with no problems.. The same brand and model sold at Lowe's for $39.99

Then three years ago I bought two very small electric heaters from the same store for only $9.99 each..

These heaters are about the size of a cigar box and have a dual setting of 800/1500 watts with a powerful fan.
They are great for the bathroom, tent, or under the desk for secretaries with cold feet.

I used them for tent heaters at wild land fire camps..

So don't ever let anyone tell you something is no good simply because of the price and/or store it is sold at because it's just not true.

Best Wishes,
John

I'm with you John. Some people don't have to watch their money close so they pay and don't look at prices. Some of us look for bargains.
