While driving on sunny days I find it difficult to see the speedometer and other gauges when I glance from the brightly lit road to the interior. I've tried sunglasses, they make it worse. Turning on the lights so the gauges are lit helps a little, but I'd really like to see better. AND, I've already had the cataracts removed.

Will window tinting the cab of a class C help? If so, what is best?

tinting the side windows will help somewhat with glare, but you cant tint the windshield. and your eyes will always need some time to adapt to the drastic change in lighting from the bright road to the dim dash area, especially with the bright road still coming in above the dash. i had to move my TPMS so i could see the screen due to the same issue.

With the overhang of a class 'C', I would think the side windows would be the major source of the glare you're getting. We had a Crown Vic that had a bad daytime glare on the cluster and tinting the side windows cured the problem...had to be really careful at night though - the tinting does reduce your side vision. While adding a shaded tint to the windshield may be illegal, adding a clear anti-glare film, such as the ones offered by 3M, are legal and make a huge difference.
