Redwood 5th wheels

Has anyone looked at the new Redwood 5th wheels? We are planning on buying a new rig in September. We've had excellent luck with our '04 Cameo but the current floor plans are not what we are looking for. The Redwood 36RL fits our needs and has some very nice features. It is a start up formed by former Carriage executives and is owned by Thor.

I watched the demo of the Redwood today. They did a great job on the video. Marketing of course but I appreciate a well done demo.

Now what caught my attention was the "hybrid" roof design. They are using a combination of I believe they said vinyl and rubber. It is a new roof composite and I would be VERY leary of being their tester on this. I would let them see how this new composite holds up or else ask an engineer(not a repair person) their opinion. I am always very leary of cars with new engine designs because many have not proven to be good over the years. But hey, Honda did it different in the beginning and look what they came up with. (cars)
