I removed one of my Kwikee Storage Slide trays. Because of the way they were installed I lost a ton of storage space . They came out very easlily..I am now a very "Happy" camper ...Peace D

I got rid of mine the day I took ownership of the rig... They just take up too much room...

If I can not get in the bay and get what I need in the bay, then it is time for me to hang it up.

They not only take up room, they are heavy. My pet peeve is when I pull it out one side, some thing that is a bit too tall on the other side, hits at the top, falls over and breaks.

I am with you...The other will probably go soon... And they are heavy and the totes can only be 7 inches tall to clear the center rail..Now I can go shopping for new totes... Peace...D

I can see why you would want to remove at least one of the slide trays. The pictures show they are mounted above the floor to clear the door latch mechanism. Doesn't give you much room above the tray for storage and wastes several inches of room below the tray. Mine are mounted at floor level and provide for more headroom thus making them a bit more tolerable.
