Removing picture installed by manufacturer

Anybody have any experience with removing a picture from an rv wall without tearing or damaging wallpaper? Haven't attempted it yet, but know it has to come down.

If I remember correctly ours was mounted with staples. Only left a couple small holes that were covered with the velcro when we hung our picture. If yours appears to be glued you can try thin string, floss, fishing, or thread. Move from top to bottom, sawing back and forth with light down and outward pressure. Once the frame comes off you can deal with anything left behind.

In our Georgie Boy (company no longer exists) the pictures were hung on two or three flat tab type mountings which could be lifted to remove them from the walls. We used the same mounts to put back one of the replacements, while the other I removed the hangers from the wall, which had been attached with an air stapler.

I have seen some also air stapled to the walls and at least once one that had screws. You will need to explore carefully to avoid damage. I would not expect any of them to be glued in place.

As you put up your own pictures, use care in applying sticky backed Velcro to the walls as experience taught us that after a picture has been in location for several years, that Velcro will take the color off of the wall when you remove it.
