Forgot to answer the question about how we painted! We did paint over the wallpaper. We actually had a friend who tried to peel the stuff off and now has a problem with the paint sticking. We sanded the wallpaper to take off the sheen then filled in any holes and sanded those. Used an oil based primer I recommend tinting it to the color you're going to paint your walls, it's very time consuming cutting in around all of the windows and corners so the least amount of coats the better . Then we used a latex based paint, we used sherwin-williams Emerald, it was mold/mildew resistant!

Thanks for all of that information! We love how it all looks and so I hope to soon be doing the same thing.

So for now I guess I'll use my handy step stool and tote to carry in the dirty dishes, can't complain too much since I've been wanting one for forever!...
I'd put the DW below and the laundry basket up high. Just sayin...

But it all looks fantastic ... especially the paint and headboard!

More photos! I thought I would post the last of my photos! Remember I still have more curtains to make We also don't have our recliners back in yet and excuse some of the mess! Clean up is taking forever! I reupholstered the dining room table chairs and changed all the lighting! We also bought a new leather sofa a great improvement over the previous sofa!

Just showing recessed lighting that we spray painted and the new floor registers we ordered (we had pulled the slide out in in the bedroom by this point)!

It was Bulldog spray adhesive and we bought it at an auto parts store! So far it's worked really well! We have a 2003 Carriage Carri-lite 36KS3!

I am so glad to see your renovation! We are about to buy our first MH, and almost all of the ones we are considering have all that gold brassy hardware too! And I just haven't understood all that matchy-matchy fabric with kitchy patterns everywhere. I like solid fabrics on furniture so i can change accessories, rugs and pillows to change the look and feel. What is all that padded stuff around the windows? Did you just take it off and pu on regular curtains? I love your modern choices, and to think you can paint all of that metal instead of replacing everything! Very exciting! Your suzani curtains are nice! Did you have to attach them any certain way?
