Replace Microwave

We are looking at switching the microwave, in our trailer, with the cuisinart air fryer and toaster.

The dimension are adequate to fit in the microwave cabinet but should I line the cabinet to cut down on temperature?

Does the outside get hot? Does it need an exhaust? Where are the vents?

Many appliances that are designed to sit on countertops are not able to be installed inside a cabinet. They don't have enough ventilation clearance. The life span of the appliance will be shortened dramatically, not to mention possibly creating a fire hazard.

Check the manual for your particular model. It might address the question. Chances are if is doesn't have a section about inside cabinet installation, they don't want it installed there.

We have decided to store it in cabinet and remove to use.

Good idea. Have you checked the power usage of the Cuisinart?

That is what we have been doing with our toaster oven for years. Just not that hard to do.
