Replace Tub?????

I have a '99 Pace Arrow and would like to replace the small shower tub with just a shallow pan.
The current tub is only 3x4 and about 12 inches deep. not much good for anything (I'm 6 foot 3)
Does anyone know if there is a kit or if anyone has tried to do this?
During our last trip I was getting out and drug my toe nail over the metal lip, which tore off my toe nail. thus bleeding all over.
I've still got to measure the actual dimentions but I can't walk yet.

I did it on my 2003 Allegro Bus for the very same reason that you're looking at it - stubbed toes. I found a shower at Home Depot that had the same footprint as the tub I was going to remove. It wasn't a bad job although I had to change direction in the middle and used just about every tool that I own. I got the same problem. My 2000 Pace has a Tub and we want to replace it with a shower. The big problem is finding a ''shower pan'' that will almost fit in the place where the tub is located. I found one on line somewhere (i forgot where) for about $125.oo plus shipping but the main problem is finding a shower door that will fit in the space left by the removed tub. You can cut down a surround and patch it into the opening but finding a ''door'' is virtually impossible as it seems that any replacement door is either too short or too wide. I have finally decided to just live with the tub for a while or just trade coaches for one with a shower only...... if you guys succeed let me know and post pix please and sources of stuff to do this.
BTW. I talked to a company that does MH modifications and they said they thought they could do this for about $2500.oo maybe and I would have to leave the coach there for about a week and stay in a motel.....
