Replacement sofa mattress

I read the links that refer to this subject but not really finding a good answer. We have a basic sofa bed in our Class A with the really lame 2 inch mattress that comes with it. Queen size. We are trying to decide between what looks to be the only 2 options for replacement mattresses; an air mattress or a memory foam mattress. Neither of which is ideal but whatayagonnado? Does anyone have experience with this? Are there other options?
We would like to offer a fairly comfortable bed to our guests. People with back pain tend to be grumpy
We really appreciate any help you can give us! And our guests will be grateful too!!

You might want to look into the air over coil mattress. We have one in our Villa sofa bed and I've been very pleased with it. Essentially, it uses the coil mattress base with an air mattress on top of it. Since the air mattress portion can be deflated for storage, it folds up into about the same space as the old, uncomfortable coil mattresses. While I'm not a fan of either air mattresses or the lousy coil mattresses, the combination in this mattress is remarkably comfortable.

We have a hideaway in the living room @ the sticks and bricks. Has a 4 inch mattress. Never been slept on and it's a Queen size, Going to go Full time next fall and will be getting rid of it.Otherwise have you checked too see if a furniture store (sells Couches/hideaway set's) has them?. they might have other options also.

When we bought our MH, the sleeper sofa mattress was completely blown out...mountainous hump. We replaced it with the dream mattress and we find it most comfortable... Super easy to inflate and no bars to sleep on.
