Replacing screen

I'm not one for opening windows,I replaced the screen in my door with clear vinyl it's like leaving your door open without the dust.

I think quite a few of us have done the same - I know I have on my last two coaches and so have some friends. Given that there are more days that are either hot or cool, as opposed to "just right", a plexiglass or acrylic door panel is more useful than a screen.

The ideal solution would be a combo of the two, such is available for stick houses. I have one at home with a roll-up vinyl panel that slides over the screen and wish I could get a similar one for the RV. It is reasonably light and doesn't require storing a separate door panel.

I have put plexi glass on the inside of my screen and it acts like a storm door. The plexi glass is removable when screens only are desired. Here is a terrible photo , but it shows what I did. There are three sections to my door and I did all three.

We did the same thing but used Command Stips to hold the plexiglass. Our reason was we travel with a cat and this allows him to see everything thats going on outside, but keeps him from tearing the screen.

We like it,a crystal clear vinyl film rolled into the frame were the screen was.

I LOVE THIS! I so want the plexi glass but don't know how to do it. We need a storm door more than a screen door ... but we do want the ability to interchange and have both. of course, right? Want to have it all ...
