We also installed a Haier 10.2 last year but have yet to install the 1000w psw inverter that I purchased. Excellent choice and should have done it sooner. Currently use the generator when moving the majority of the time and occasionally the current 2000w msw inverter. When you get a moment, could you forward information on how/where you mounted your inverter as we are going to have ours mounted in about 2 months and this would be helpful.

Dave.....In reality, you were probably doing more damage to the refer by turning it on and off, then it running while driving. Refers like to be turned on and left on until they die.

Agree with Don. Leave it on. I did turn the ice maker off in ours for storage.

We have a Jenn-Air double door refer. CC added some small cabinet catches on both doors. Our first trip out (about 2,600 miles) showed us that they weren't enough so I had a friend make a couple cuts in a piece of plywood and slip it over the top of the handles. Plus I added the spring rods inside. I hate cleaning up broken glass and food off the tile!

"Mr_D"......now you've made me curious. Where did you get a speeding ticket in California. They rarely stop big coaches......how fast were you going?
