just installed a new road trip mission with new directv receiver. reception was good but it seemed to make a lot of noise as it was constantly se4arching for a satellite. i can put up with it while driving down the road but it didnt stop searching even when i was parked. could it be from cloudy weather? i parked the rv back in the shop and was going to pull it back out tomorrow if the weather is clear and try it again. anyone have any suggestions on what i need to check for if it does it again?

Mine has a manual on and off switch to the seeker. You might want to add one.
