Roadside Assistance Coverage
We have a relatively new Class A Winnebago coach and we're nearing the one year warranty end period. We're wondering whether to renew the Good Sam coverage for roadside assistance or go with Coach-Net. We've never exercised either and I'm sure they both have great response times/coverage. I'm just looking for the opinions of anyone about either service. Good Sam gets a lot of press, but we do own a Winnebago and Coach-Net seems to be affiliated with them. If this is the wrong forum to post, I'm very apologetic. Thanks for any examples of good service from either in helping with our decision.

That would make Coachnet SIX hands down.
Seriously... if you search the forum on this topic I'll be you find something like 8 to 1 in favor of Coachnet. The "1" would be all others combined.

Had a problem with the MH today and called Good Sam ERS. 2 1/2 hours later and after several more phone calls they had finally found someone to come out, but it would be at least two more hours before they could even leave! I told the guy to forget it, that I would handle it myself and would change to CoachNet when my coverage expired.

Good choice, I have had fantastic service with Coach Net twice, once at 1:00 AM. From the time I called until the rear inside dual was changed - roughly 1 hour.

Is there a Roadside Assistance program that covers the changing of a tire on a motorhome that doesn't have a spare onboard?

Once again----------CoachNet. The tow service that they send will assess what you need and bring the appriate sized tire. You will of course have to pay for the tire.

I have Good Sam ERS for several years. Unfortunantly have had several opprotunities to use the service. I have been well satisfied.
