We've had the AAA RV Plus for several years. Only used it once for the coach and that was last week. When I called they asked the appropriate questions, beginning with, "Are you in a safe place?" Only question they didn't ask was if it was diesel or gas. We called at 7:15pm, the tow was there and hooked up by 9:30 from 40 miles away. Had a harder time getting a Porsche towed in Hawaii.

I have been seeing a number of poor reports about Good Sam due to some kind of new computer problems. In addition, when I was shopping, I tried to get a copy of the Good Sam contract before I signed up and THEY REFUSED TO SEND IT TO ME. I told them I gave up buying a pig in a poke when I was 14 and went with Coach Net. A flat in Alaska cost them over $700, but I was not disappointed in the service. I haven't seen many pluses or minuses on AAA.

A poll on roadside service that does not offer Coach-Net as an option to select. Poor design ......... my vote is for Coach-Net.

I am glad I asked because I didn't even know about Coach-Net. See, it pays to ask. I will definitely check into that.

I've had both. In three previous coaches, had the unfortunate need to use both Good Sam & Coach-Net several times. Had several issues with GS, but I admit that was 8 or 10 yrs ago. Switched to Coach-Net, used them several times due to problems with my next-to-last coach. No problems with their service. Traded that coach in '13. Still have Coach-Net, but (thankfully) haven't needed them (& hopefully won't). So, my vote goes to....wait for it...Coach-Net. 🔔🔔🔔

Good Sam. My RV went Kaput last month, and Good Sam got us towed; unfortunately the shop they towed us to couldn't fix it, but Good Sam willingly paid to have us towed a second time to a shop that could and did!

Well here's my vote for Progressive Roadside Assistance. It only cost me $24 a yr. as a rider on my Progressive policy. It covers my towed also. I've needed them twice, and each time they were super. One of those times we were in the Yukon, and they sent out a flatbed trailer that I requested, not a tow truck. I didn't want our coach on the end of a tow truck going over the frost heaves.
