Yup. If you have seen over hauling or the home makeover shows, this is a half hour mindless RV show. The first one was cool with a families old tired RV being redone. Cool to see it ripped apart and totally rebuilt. The second one was ok but a big ??? for me. It was the RV from the guys who started Tapout. (A clothing company for young people) The hook was they do charity work in it. I'm ok with that but wonder why some millionaire young guys did't do it themselves. Not a must watch but fun. Haven't seen any since. The program after, dream RV's I think it's called was better.

I have watched the episodes but the first one totally floored me....The demo/re-construction team really loaded the RV up with slides and additional weight and I was confused as to whether the chassis and/or motor could handle the mods???

I assumed that the RV was a gasser and I know that my old (1995) Newmar gasser could barely get out of its own way with only one slide...

Just my 2 cents worth...

The show is reasonably entertaining. Fortunately, it's only a 1/2 hour.

And mercifully the commercials shorten that but 1/2 are about the show. Record - fast forward - delete. Michales is pretty much insufferably full of himself to the exclusion of room for things like taste. He is not the Rick Foos of Motorhomes. YMMV.

The Tapout lounge one is online on the Travel Channel webpage- with the same 30 second Camping World ad repeated throughout.

I liked the idea of using the roof as a deck with an inside spiral staircase. I wouldn't mind that on my TT They twice showed how the handrails lowered to get to the required RV height, but the T shirt gun? Is it supposed to lower too? I guess I am overthinking here.

I noticed that all the RV's from all these shows are in the background at the lot. Looks like they were all being done at the same time. Some of the owners commented that it was a long 3 month wait. They probably paraded Michaels in at the beginning and then did all the reveals within a short time period.

Discounting the production spam (for lack of a better name) I enjoy seeing these remodels...
...looking forward to the one featuring an old GMC Class A from the 70's - those were crazy front wheel drive rigs with tandem rear singles!

The Coachmen Royal DP episode was amazing with the addition of a slide and rooftop deck...but the logo on the wrap is just screaming "Hey, you don't want me in YOUR RV PARK!"

Safe travels to all

Just found it on the programming, it's already set to record on the DVR, looks like they repeat those shows. Thanks for the heads up.

They took some old RV's and re did them like no one in their right mind would because of the money involved. In s nice to see the he possibilities.

My biggest complaint about that show is the fast paced cut and shift filming. You never get to see anything in depth but do get to see the same cut many times. That show for the Big Foot Hunter never did indicate how they planned to handle all the added weight. I know it was an ambulance chassis but probably overloaded before they added all the extras like the steel bumpers and brush guards.
