Well its not raining in my small spot of southeast Texas but has been said wait an hour. Anyway I have purchased an Extreme vent cover and need info on removal of old dicor sealant around old mount. I do not want to do damage to the rubber roof with cleaners. Also when I pull the old flange up do I need to put adhesive between wood and rubber. Keep the dust on your boot and thanks. BKF

What you will need is a putty knife and screw gun to pull the old fixture off. Scrap the head of the screws coverin sealant off enough to get the "Roberts",(square headed) bit into the screws and back them out. Once all the screws are out then start at one corner and get it started up. using a strong putty knife you should be able to get it off and scrape off only what you have to. Clean and install new vent and reseal with new lap sealant. Good luck and let us know how it went.

How did your project come out? Any problems? What did you use for a bedding compond? What did you use as the lap sealant?

Hope your work was a success - and you still have a rubber roof on your rig!
