Rotating seats for Ford E450 Class C RV chassis

Hi!

Know this topic has been addressed before, but it's been quite a while since the last thread and really nothing concrete resulted.

Does any one have up-to-date info on modifying a fixed front passenger seat to a swivel seat?

Any current information would greatly be appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Most new seats have the swivel mechanism built into the seat. Older motor home and van seats used a mechanism that was separate of the seat. It was a platform that mounted to the floor and the seat mounted to the platform. I would look for one of the older style mechanisms.

I know my Dad used to unbolt the pass seat and turn it around backwards if they were staying somewhere for a period of time.
