We prefer Holland America. Next cruise will be around Hawaii, we were married there some 25+ years ago.

+1 Great time. If you've never gone on a cruise, you should do it once.

Went on my 8th cruise last November, now I'm looking to book another this late spring. I'm just waiting for all the cancellation panic to peak then the rates will take a dive. Now if I could only get the bar tabs reduced, it would be perfect.

I must agree with you. We did the Alaska cruise/tour for our 40th weding aniversary with them. They seem to cater to older folks, as there were not many children on board. But as mentioned, camping is beter in many ways. We hope to try a camping trip up there in a few years.

Love Royal Caribbean and Princess. Holland America get my vote, too, but they're a bit older crowd and sometimes boring LOL (no, I'm not young). Will never go on Norwegian again.

Another vote for Holland America ... we love it. We are booked on another Alaska cruise in June.

Not as such, but cruise agents get lists of "last minute" availability and could let you know. They also have regional specials for people that live near cruise ports (and are flexible). If you're looking for a good cruise agent, send me a PM. One of our favorites is in Texas and would be glade to help you.
