Rubber roof replacement

I am still looking for good/fair/bad opinions regarding any roof replacement or repair done by Minnesota RV Roofing in Alexandria, Minnesota. They have a replacement product that I am considering. It's a high density acrylic product that they guarantee for 10 years against leaks..Labor and parts. It is costly but what isn't with worn out rubber roofs?? Anyone here ever used them? Appreciate any advice before I decide on what to do. Thanks J.D.

When we were faced with replacing the roof, we decided to do it ourselves. See the link below for a project summary.

RS... great job!!

John, I read about application that is being done for lifetime job done with a material like rhino lining type stuff. I believe that Peterson / Excel does it. Worth checking into as it is supposed to be tough as nails and lifetime guarantee. I think if I were doing a roof, I would check it out if keeping the rig.

Just replaced my rubber roof. Came with a 10 year leak guarentee. Looks great and glad I had it done.

Is the entire job guaranteed, or just the material they use. The material isn't what leaks - its the seams and any cuts from tree branches or whatever. Obviously tree damage isn't going to be warranted, but I doubt if the seams and such are either. What I'm saying is, the 10 year warranty isn't really of much value, cause any material you put on is going to last 10 or 15 or even 20 years.

That said, I haven't seen or heard anything negative about them. They've been advertising their RV roofing stuff for about a year now, but I've seen no feedback at all. Happy customers, or perhaps just very few customers?

Correct, branch tears etc are not covered but as long as i bring in the coach spring and fall to get checked they will repair or re-seal the seams. This dealership is really trying to make it's mark on the RV community up here. I believe that they are also associated with another dealership in Minnisota.

Appreciate all replies...my plan is to drive to Minnesota within the next few weeks and have them do the roof. Going to cost about $3500 however, no maintenance or caulking and 10year guarantee so what the heck it's only money and much better than an old guy tumbling off the roof. Plus Ive got lots of friends in gopher land and is time for some traveling. Thanks again. I will post after the roof is done and let everyone know what I think of the work and finished project. J.D.
