Runners

Does anybody else on here consider themselves a runner as well as an RVer? When we originally started travelling one of my goals was to run a race in every state. After a year of traveling I have ran in exactly 0 races. I blame it on being too overwhelmed by our new lifestyle.

Fortunately in the past couple of months I have gotten back into the running routine and will be running a half marathon next weekend.

For the most part I have found that the RV'ing lifestyle is quite complimentary to a runners habit. I've run on some amazing trails, gotten to know the places we are staying a little more intimately and I don't get bored running the same path all the time. Win win.

I don't see many other runners at the places we stay but I have noticed some. Curious if there are any others on this forum who combine RV'ing and running.

on the trail

I enjoy running the many places we have stayed. I specially enjoy the state parks.
