Very cool list. Thanks for posting it Doggy Daddy.

I remember attending some sort of NASA presentation years ago when he said they used "AFE".... acronyms for everything.

Thanks DD,
I picked up on a few that I didn't know. I'm sure this will be very beneficial, especially to some newbies. Sometimes we forget when posting that everyone knows what we're talking about....not so.

Please add this to the R section:

On a more serious note, please add OCCC which now replaces CCC on all new labels on motorized RV's only: Occupant & Cargo Carrying Capacity

FW - freshwater, or fifth wheel, or fleetwood.

This is part of why I hate acronyms. There are no standards for their use and often have to be guessed at based on usage and/or which forum it is used in. Others use them indiscriminately with no clue as to what they are referring to. Often it seems that posters are just too lazy too spell out exactly what they are trying to refer to.

OK, rant over.

After working near 40 years in the commercial aviation industry, I'm a little burned out with acronyms. Now, when reading the more obscure ones, after about two seconds I usually 'HTEB' (Hit The Erase Button). 'PDMMWTHFI,I'MR' (Please Don't Make Me Work Too Hard For It, I'M Retired)
Jan and Bob

Two additions.. C2C = Coast to Cost in addition to CTC

PITA,, Pain In The Anatomy

I like that better than the more common A, because well.. pain in the neck, Pain in the elbow, pain in the foot, Pain in the.. you know what, All PITA if you use Anatomy.

Plus it gets a laugh most of the time.
