Video is a nifty tool for the cops to investigate crimes.....but only after the fact.

How far will authorites go, and how fast, with petty theft or crimes less than grand larceny? If they make an arrest, there is possible court time/testimony?
Likely, the perp pleads out and you have an insurance deductible to pay.

Many perps truly do not care if there is a security system.

Not camping in risky places is a good idea.

I'm a Real alarm guy too

Been in business for 30 years and licensed in NJ. I have installed over 2000 alarm systems, access control, camera, fire alarm and specialty systems. I have wireless alarms in my MH and in my home in FLorida. Of course we use a cell transmitter. No big deal. I also have a system in my yacht.

Real simple to install. I have even set up 40 zone systems and sent them to Italy for use in massive homes. Of course, I also have to set them up for 50 cycles and special plugs and voltages.

The OP was referring to a product that came down the pike about three years ago. things have changed a lot since then. A honewell vista 20p with a wireless keypad has so many options we could write a book. there are at least two cell communicators that I suggest one is telguard and the uplink. I use both.

simply have the central station call your cell phone when alarm is activated. You can call the police or go to the MH with your 30 cal. persuader. As for a camera, nice idea but someone has to recolonize who the person on video is and if not it is waste of time and money. I also have smoke detectors and CO detectors in our system. Pet immune motion sensors must be carefully installed to be at lease 7 feet from where a pet might move. there is no guarantees for cats. I have seen them jump to the top of a china cabinet.

NO i will not sell one to anyone on this forum , I am selling the business this year - go to ebay
