Aw come on !! ... lot's of us spend time here in the summer ... we work on the RV from 5am until 7am ... then go home and stay inside and take a nap under the A/C and ceiling fans

We just came back from The Great Outdoors outside of Coco Beach, Florida. Numerous home styles to choose from in various price ranges. On a scale of 1 to 10 I would give the resort an 11! Check it out...Florida RV Resorts | Central Florida RV & Golf Resort - The Great Outdoors

Kidding aside, I have been checking this place out for a few months now. My brother and I had a falling out last fall and I have nothing holding me here any more.
Just like the cold up here I am not sure if I can handle the hot humid summers down there.
I hope to read some results from your OP. Thanks for asking.

I can understand you hesitation on the Florida heat after living in cooler climates. As much as I want warm weather I hesitate just a bit on growing roots in Florida. Maybe there is somewhere at the half way point?

It is nice to see other states included. The homes with the RV port look nice and the prices on the surface are not unreasonable. The location is not very far from water. My parents lived outside of Dallas for a few years. They seem to like it but ended up returning to Virginia when the housing market fell years ago.
Thanks for your post!

From the video that place looked like paradise! Any idea what those homes are selling for? I realize there are different models but hypothetically, what would one with an RV carport go for?

To give it an 11 is good to see. I have viewed the web site and it appears they have many options with prices to fit just about any budget. Love the home on Butterfly Court! Now I just have to find the 985,000. Unless I hit the lottery (which I do not play) I will not be buying this home. Awesome home if you have the money though!
Thank you very much for adding this site and location to the list of options for people to consider!
Safe travels!

I think I saw on one of there videos yesterday they range from the $150,000.00-$500,000.00. One of the ads the house has 2500sq/ft and so was the garage space My current S&B is just under 975 and they were installing a car lift in one of the bays. How sweet is that. and a 16 by 24 screen enclosed pool
Is there any other States that has places like these? They have good selling points.

I am sure that there are RV resorts in Arizona as well as other states. We are also interested in an RV style house as we are planning on downsizing and building one in PA. We found a couple of models that we liked and will be moving forward with our plans within the next year.

Sounds nice. Be sure to post pictures while building. Would love to see your finished home!

We are currently looking at homes in Cumberland co tn. There are several communities that build rv garages with your house. We just looked at one in Fairfield Glade. Tn. The weather is cooler than Fl. There's another, Cumberland Mountain RV community that we will look into.
Will give results.

Thanks for the post. Will be looking forward to any additional information you are able to provide on these communities.

If I could find an RV community near DFW I'd be thinking about a move.

I wish I was retired. February 9, 2016 is my final day on the job. Still have a little bit to go. Light at the end of the tunnel!
