RV Dealerships

Hello,

I am stationed overseas, but will be passing thru the Chicago are in the next few weeks and am looking for a dealership with a large inventory. I am aware of the CampingWorld, but what are some others? I am willing to drive a bit, like maybe down to Elkhart to get a good look. Unfortunately, I will not be able to time ANY of the RV shows across the country this year but want to get a good look at what is out there.

I have had a 5ver before, so not new, just looking to get back into it. Thanks for any recommendations...

Thank you for your service and welcome home. Do alot of reading regarding CW sales and service ( or lack of). Researching the dealershiop is just as important as the RV you are looking to buy.

Good luck with your search, good ones seem few and far between. Some may have inventory but service is another question.

Thank you for your service.

Now one dealer slightly farther away is in Huntley IL area and right off of I90 which is General RV. I have never dealt with them but I have looked at campers there on line. Did not have the model I wanted. Another larger dealer but in Pontiac Il right off of I55 is Pontiac RV.

I did buy from them in 2010 and bought a 318 SAB Cougar and felt they where fairly honest and did a good job in prepping the RV.

Good luck.
