RV Direct is also known as RVOne. Their locations dealerships are Buffalo RV, Albany RV, Orlando RV, and Des Moines RV. I bought my Berkshire from them and they beat everyone else by thousands. They have been great to deal with from a sales and service standpoint. I'm looking to move up from our Berkshire to an Entegra and Buffalo RV is where we will buy from. When we have had any issues they have been quick to resolve them. If you look down through the Entegra threads you will see many that have bought from them and been very satisfied.

Ed is correct. Don't recognize any f the sales people "on line", but I can recommend Terri at Orlando RV as a great person. Give her a call...my guess is prices the same as what you might get through the on line approach.

If you negotiate with them, you should be able to get a great price.

Also heard yesterday that there might be some in stock 2013s with the whole RVOne operation and with MHSRV.com. Lazy Days may have some in stock, but you'll be hard pressed to get them to give you a "best price"...on the other hand, I hear they'll match the other two.

Good luck..you looking at a great coach.

I've been getting quotes on several units from RV Direct as we narrow our choices down. They've been easy to deal with so far. They are well reviewed by users of many online forums. I'm interested to know if people have had good/bad experiences with them as well.

I bought a Jayco Melbourne from them in 2010. The transaction went without major problems. I would buy from them again if they had the RV that I wanted.

If Albany RV is part of this group, I would run in the other direction. I went there (about 2 hours away) to look at a 2004 Pace Arrow, which looked great in the photos, but pertty beat in person. I said I wanted to think about it, and then went home and looked them up online to see their reputation. They've had several (many) recent complaints through the BBB and several dissatisfied customers posting in the forums about horrible post-purchase service. When I asked their sales person (who called me relentlessly) why she thought they received so many complaints, her response was "I've been working here a long time. We sell a lot of rvs a month and can't make everybody happy"... which I guess is true, but not what I wanted to hear... so I moved on and bought someplace else several states away...

I was curious as to the nature of the complaints about Albany RV so I checked out the BBB listings for Albany. The most recent complaint was filed by someone who bought a rig years ago and never looked at the title and then they saw that a bank was shown as a lienholder on their title. They complained about the dealer when the problem was with NYS DMV, not the dealer.

I have dealt with the Strollo brothers here in Buffalo and I would have no problem dealing with any of their dealerships. They have been honest and helpful in all respects and they have some pretty good deals.

There are 44 complaints against Albany RV in the past 36 months on the BBB website. 16 complaints in the last 12 months alone. Thats's not a very long time ago. 34 of the complaints are due to "problems with product/service". 5 are due to guarantee/warrantee complaints... Not a DMV issue. On a scale of A+ to F they are a "B". If you want to do business with them, that is your choice. The RV business is full of good and bad eggs... As for me, I will stick with businesses that care more about the customers...

Our experience with the company has been excellent and I would have to base my comments more on what my experience has been rather than the complaints to the Better Business Bureau that may or may not be valid. As someone who has to deal with the general public I have found that there are a great number of people who will complain about anything and everything. Sadly we seem to have evolved in a culture of "It's not my fault" so let's blame someone else and there are many folks out there who function that way.

I'm sorry your experience was not up to par with Albany RV. Ours and that of many others has been exceptional.

Cool

RV Direct at Orlando has easily beat Lazy Days as far as negotiating price on new diesel pusher. We are still working on price difference on trade in and new Entegra Aspire.
My question is about the service we can expect from them. I really like the fact that you can hook up at Lazy Days and spend a night or two while learning about the motorhome. This avoids multiple trips back and forth.
Can anyone comment on their PDI experience and initial round of "Fix its" at RV Direct? What is their expertise on Entegras? I have spoken with Robin McCracken at Orlando who says they have enlisted one or two technicians w/ Entegras but of course he would say that.
Buying is only part of the anxiety. Service is on going. Am I limited to service at RV Direct?

Be sure you can return to them for any warranty work as many dealers will not work on units they did not sell. Or at least be sure you have a local place for the work.
RV direct was an excellent source to get pricing and got my local dealer to match it.

RV Direct

I have bought one RV at Lazy Days and my next one at RV Direct/Orlando RV. My opinion is you have to decide about service vs price. I think Lazy Days is better for service but when I shopped them RV Direct beat them handily. My DW and I heard rumors RV Direct was so-so on service and that has turned out true. They have fixed my RV when needed but they don't seem speedy or efficient. The downside for Lazy Days is they are great to make the sale and on initial delivery but due to their location in sunny Florida and volume of sales it is near impossible to get an appointment in less than 2-3 months. The snowbirds overwhelm the place. If you have a dealer you like in your area use LD and RVDirect and shop them against each other. When my DW and I discussed the merits of service in our area (Lazy Days, Orlando RV, North Trail) we decided that after the initial warranty expires (1-2 yrs) you are on your own anyway for service. IMHO

The immensity of Lazy Days does work against them when it comes to service. We are torn between RV Orlando and LD for sale but have found that many local dealers are willing to accept warranty work.FYI Entegra will tell you that they will reimburse and work with local dealer during two year initial warranty. The other choice is to pay and wait for check.I might end up at North Trail as you mentioned but they are cutting back on their MH brands.
Wonder why?
