I've taken the plunge and will soon be picking up my new Allegro Breeze. I'm considering going with RV Financing for the loan.
Anybody had any good or bad experiences they want to share?

Congrads, checked out the breeze on line and nice rig. Best of luck and happy trails. Sorry don't know about fianancing, we go cash or we don't go. That's why we have a 35' and not the 45' we really would like.

Check some of the magazines like Motorhome, Trailer Life. I have seen some ads for 5.5% financing I believe by Essex Financial.

Our dealer arranged 4.75% for us, through bank of the west.

I think it depends on new vs. used too. We have a used coach (2001) and have a rate of 5.64% for 15 years through USAA. I figure this is pretty good; however I may need to shop around.

Depending on your credit, BofA has provided us the best rate at 4.99 (5.09 calculated APR). Of course, we are still waiting for the office in Alpharetta to reopen to finish the paperwork....darn mother nature & her timing!

It seems as though the rate is much better on new coaches versus used. Joe

Received OK today from ESSEX Credit Corp. (Good Sam) for refinance of 2010 MH at 5.29%. You can get same rate for new purchase through 02/03/11.

Essex is good but if they do not want to go-use American General they did us square at 5.99. Easier lender.

We used Excel Credit.... awesome company and very great support and follow-up. They were right on top of everything, returned calls and emails and actually answered phones!

I agree. Just finished refinancing with them. My re-fi loan is being carried by Bank of the West. Another great company to do business with. We financed our very first RV with them. Their customer service was awesome.

RV Refinancing
When you refi with Essex do they allow you to name the number of years to pay the loan off rather then going from...say... the original 10 year term to the present day of 8 years left. If I could refi to get a lower interest rate I would not want to extend the loan, in fact I would like to shorten the term to 5 or 6 years. Someone said (don't recall the post) that some loan firms have only 10, 15 or 20 year RV loans. Joe

Oops...after a re-read, I meant Essex Credit, not Excel Credit that Downsizer mentioned.
