Never even consider any payment for any RV without seeing it and inspecting it first. See the title or registration of the unit, making sure it is a clear title, any liens should be duly noted and understood. Just never exchange money to whomever without seeing it. Been there done that. Even had credit approval for the unit, but he couldn't produce a copy of the title.

I had applied to an ad for class a rv for sale here in Canada, seller was a lady in California. She was at her daughters there. Story was her husband died, she had rv in storage in Canada, send her the money she would release the coach. Turns out no coach, it was also for sale in Florida in another add. That owner in Florida was not selling for the price it was listed by the lady.
As they say two good to be true it most likely is a bad deal.

This is definitely a scam. Neither Amazon or Ebay have escrow services. Ebay will protect sales made through them, but not for anyone else. 10 Steps to Avoid Online Auction Fraud | TechNewsDaily.com

Gosh, a good friend of mine just bought a 2005 Bounder in Florida sight unseen. Hired a guy to drive it to California and it was just as advertised. All sellers are not stinkers.

Am I reading this correctly, he wants you to pay for it (put the money up with "Amazon Simple Pay" before he'll let you see or inspect the unit? That sure wouldn't fly in my house.

The other one to watch out for is PayPal... This type of scam has been going on for years. One test is to say, "I have the money, I'll send you a certified bank check" If they pass on that... pass on the deal

I would not accept any sort of certified bank check or cashiers check from anyone anymore. Those are easily faked.

Easy scam!

I have found that every single scam out there you can not go look at the RV (car, bicycle, boat, etc, etc.) without sending money first!
If I can't go to look at it and check it out, no money goes out at all!
If you can't put your hand on it don't send money!
