Do most casinos allow you to camp out in the parking lot for the weekend? What about letting me run my generator? I don't plan on BBQ'ing or anything like that. I just want somewhere to sleep and shower. Thanks Phil

Yes.
Any problems speak to a pit boss or your host. If there is a problem he may comp you a room.

I don't think you'll find any rv parking on the strip. Sam's Town, to the east of the strip, has a nice park (3-4 years ago), you should call ahead. There's a couple of parks on I15 coming in from the South but they are several miles from the strip. Good Luck!!

I know you can park at the New Frontier, Excaliber and Gold Coast.

Circus Circus gets my vote. They even have an air conditioned covered walkway from the RV are into the casino. Plus they have a great buffet!

Here's a review on the Circus Circus Buffet. Personally, I don't frequent the Circus Circus, too many unsupervised kids running wild.
Circus Buffet: Advertised as "one of Las Vegas' biggest buffets," this used to be one of the worst in town, now it's improved to slightly substandard. The prices are low, but still higher than some quality buffets, like at the Station casinos, so it's not much of a bargain. Everything is just kind of moist and flavorless. It does, however, serve thousands of people every day, and that says something about people's inability to discriminate, or their lack of knowledge about any other buffet.
REVIEW SOURCE
The Circus Circus Campground is now a KOA. Their rate is ~$66 a night.

I recommend Sams Town on Boulder Hiway east of the strip. If I remember right their full hookups are $18 per night, might be a little more but nowhere near $66. There is a shuttle to the strip. We like the Buffet in Boulder Station.

Out on Boulder Highway, just outside Vegas next to Sam's Town is the Road Runner RVpark it was $11.00 per night including cable TV. That was 2 years ago. I agree the station casinos offer better buffets and are less crowded. But the strip mega casinos are interesting to see.
