RV Furniture

Looking to replace some RV furniture. We are in Scottsdale AZ for the winter. Besides Camping World in Mesa AZ, does anyone know of another business that does this?

Thanks,

Jeff

Go to any regular furniture store. When it says "RV furniture" the price jumps. There is nothing special about RV furniture, other than the higher price.

As mentioned , a lot of members are using household furniture however some aren't. Here's a link to some previous threads that may be of assistance.

I agree w/Cat 320. Just measure the space you're wanting to put the new piece(s) in & then shop any furniture store. "RV furniture" is quite expensive for no real good reason.

Just make sure that you can get it in the door.

My Arctic Fox came with the recliner that was too small, and a sofa bed that was all but unusable. I went to American furniture warehouse in Colorado Springs Colorado and walked out with a new easy chair that fit me, and a sofa bed that's fairly comfortable for both uses for less than $500. I know they're not great Pieces of furniture, but after 2 years they still look and work fine and they're cheap enough that I can replace them if they do fall apart.

RV Furniture

I replaced my couch in my tt it was hard as a rock. got it from big lots the most comfortable thing I've ever seat in and I got a good deal on 2 leather la z boy recliners.. We're in love with the set up. Don't know how I got it though the door because it's bulky I pushed and hoped it didn't rip

We bought LA Z BOY recliners to replace the hide a bed in our '02 DSDP. The had LA Z BOY replace to standard base with a round swivel base. The backs come off so they're easy to get through the doorways. Did the same with the Stressless rocker in the Magna. It just wasn't comfortable so now it's in the stick house too.

Is there a weight consideration? Are typical "RV" furniture pieces typically lighter than a Lazy-Boy or Ashley or Sam's Club, or... Or a they all about the same weight?

My reason for this question is the weight on the slide.

I didn't weigh the two Lazboy recliners we put in to replace the sleeper couch. But if I was to guess, I think it's pretty much a push. I had to practically dismantle the couch to get it out, but the recliners were a piece of cake since the backs are removable.

Ikea is a good place to buy furniture for an RV (or any place with a small doorway).
Their furniture is 'some assembly required', so you can get it through the door. After that it doesn't matter if the assembled piece is larger than would fit through the doorway.

Cedar Creek 5er's are shipped from the factory with either Lazy Boy recliners and sofas or for the theater seating it is manufactured by Lane.

When we where at the last international F.R.O.G (Forest River Owners Group) rally, I asked the representatives who furnish the furniture in the trailer.
