We have been thinking of doing the same thing. We have power at out River property where the M/H lives but sometimes don't get down there often enough to keep the generator properly maintained and exercised. I'm thinking of making a wheeled cart the right height to slide it in or out of the M/H. As far as wiring, I would first secure the main incoming breaker and use my two pole fused 30 amp disconnect between the gen set and the breakers I'd use for the generator incoming power. Maybe not quite code, but I AM an electrician and will make it safe..
