RV Inspections - Phoenix

I'd like to get an RV mechanical inspection done on our new to us coach we are buying in Phoenix. Anyone recommend a contact or shop for this?

Likely should do compression test not just a walk through condition report.

Thanks in advance for you help.

Search words in threads for Dave Mattson. 1 will come up. The OP was happy with his work. YMMV.

Ended up not buy in Phoenix area but he does PDI inspections in Phoenix area. Spoke to him several times. Seemed to know what he was doing. A little hard to get a hold of but does return calls.

Thanks Steve,

I think I know the condition from good photos and am comfortable with that. I'm more concerned with the big ticket mechanical items. I really appreciate your reply though. Thank you.

No worries. A phone call is cheap. He may know someone to contact for the more in depth type of look see you're interested in.

Here is a post from another person that was having trans. shift issues and he found this place in Sierra Vista, AZ. Seemed to be happy with the work. not sure how far you are from there but may want to check it out.

I sure appreciate everyone's thoughts and comments...makes this site even more valuable for those of us with nice coaches but limited mechanical skills.

The coach was tested by a real good Cat/Allison man and he found nothing wrong...other than the shift point from 5-6 is 64 mph...which is almost impossible to do on my country roads here...and never did!

But he did find that the antifreeze was the wrong kind and flushed the engine and put the right red stuff in.

If anyone travels down this way, Sierra Vista AZ, besides being a perfect climate, it does have Desert Auto...and they know their stuff for Cat, Cummins, Allison, and even Ford or Chevy!

Like I said in my email, call Massey's Diesel | Complete service on all diesel models or check here.
This site is slow to load, but does work.
