RV Magazines

Looking to subscribe to a RV Magazine. Was wondering if one is considered better than another. Opinions please. We are casual RV'ers trying to determine if full time is something we would like for our retirement in about five years.

I like both Motorhome Magazine. Also, if you become a member of Escapees or FMCA, you get a subscription to their magazines. I enjoy all 3 of these.

MH magazine as well, we are members of FMCA there magazine is somewhat ok. Both have good tech tips. FMCA has a lot of classified info on RV sales, as well as rental pads, etc. Both are worth the money I look forward to them and both are now digital!

I like Motorhome Magazine as well, and before that we subscribed to Trailer Life, by the same publisher.
(Shameless self-promotion, and not that it has any bearing on the subject, but our rig is featured in the "OffRamp: Postcards from the Road" feature in the May 2013 issue!)

One of my favorites is the RV Journal. I think it's only available in the west.. and it's free at advertisers in the mag. I no longer subscribe to TL, etc... just too much advertising and not the content I like. But, the RVJ meets my needs wonderfully. I think one can subscribe in other parts of the country/world.. but the content is generally for the west.. even if it does have articles at times about other places.

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned Mark Polk's "RV Consumer Magazine" over at RV Education. Good articles, how tos, and product commentaries.

I like RV Life Magazine - RV Life Magazine. Good destination pieces and an insider peek at happenings in the RV industry.

Escapees RV Club is excellent too, as noted above.

I have Motorhome Magazine, the Good Sam Magazine and FMCA magazine. I find that the Good Sam magazine is more CW advertising and the Motorhome Magazine isn't far behind.

X2 on the Motorhome magazine. It is more advertising than anything else.

Thanks everyone, I just subscribed to Motorhome and bookmarked RV life. Between this forum and those resources I think this newbie will be well served. Thanks again.

Was just going to ask the same question, so happy with the answers here. Don't have an RV just yet, so will probably end up with one or other of the club magazines eventually. I see zinio has something called RV Magazine, but only showing a copy from last year. Anyone heard of that one? At any rate, I'll probably start off with the iPad version for Motorhome.
