RV Maintenance/Service Question in NJ
I need some chassis and coach repairs and am looking at Gerber RV & Truck Center in Hackensack, NJ as a repair facility. My rig is a 2007 Dutchmen Dorado on a Chevy E3500 chassis.
I contacted various Chevrolet dealers for the chassis related items but none can/will handle an RV (lift height being the most common reason). One interesting twist is that while I have a Workhorse emblem on my rig, according to the VIN number, it is most definately NOT a Workhorse chassis. One dealer insisted I had to go to a Workhorse repair facility regardless.
The closest RV dealer can perform all of the servies needed but won't accept my Good Sam Platinum Extended Warranty, stating they don't pay very well.
So I am just trying to find out if Gerber RV is a good place to go to for repairs. Their website says they can handle any chassis or coach related service, including Workhorse. If anyone has experience with this company please let me know. Thanks in advance for your help!
