I am about to pull the trigger on a new 2016 Winnebago Itasca Solei 36G, a 38' diesel Class A for $170,000 without any factory options as a special order. And it is for full-timing use. Winnebago in general ranks about 61 out of 74 in the list above. Any comments?

62% of all statistics are made up on the spot. (-:

I wouldn't buy a particular RV based on that list.

Forget the ratings.........Will that Coach do everything you want it to do for you and your full time living plan? Is the question.........
Floor plan, Engine power, Towing capacity, not only right now, but think of sometime down the road of what your needs will be. Will this Coach cover those needs?
I thought I'd read as to where you had already ordered it?

I have gone back and forth with several models, and just now made a final decision and I am semi-in love with it. I like the gas coaches better, but decided for full-timing, I need a diesel.

I just saw your post after reading another thread where my choice of RV has been shredded. I don't know...we love ours. The coach you're considering is beautiful, and a huge percentage of the world would trade places with you in a heartbeat. Do it. Enjoy it. Report back.

I would agree with others in as much as the "survey" is useless. Not only aren't there any controls there isn't even a standard sample set. In some cases they refer to a specific brand and model, while in other cases they lump a manufacturers entire product line or lines in the same sample statistic.

Winnebago Industries for instance currently makes 31 different lines of motorhomes. Within those model lines there 2 to 6 different models. There are in the neighborhood of 125 different choices available, not counting the different floor plans within a given size. To lump all these different choices into 1 statistic is ridiculous. Especially when in other cases their sample includes only a single specific motorhome as in the case of Kountry Star or Georgie Boy Pursuit.

Who ever did the survey has no knowledge as to how to set one up, or how to evaluate the responses. For that matter it appears there isn't even any knowledge of the RV industry concerning the different brands and models offered by the various manufacturers.

It is based on customer satisfaction survey votes and of course very subjective. One thing I found interesting is that Winnebago and Itasca are identical coaches with just different names, but Itasca rates considerably higher.

I hope that was a list you copied and pasted, and you didn't type out that entire list.
