We just received the Good Sam's Highways Magazine and on page 22 is an article (review) about the TempFlow RV mattress from Relief Mart. It sounds interesting, especially since my DW does not like the mattress that came with the RV. We are interested if their claim is everything that it says it is. So our question is: Does anyone out there have one of these, are they what they say they are, and do you like or dislike yours? We would probably get the RV8000 model if we get one. All help would be appreciated.

I placed my order this morning for the RV8000 matress. After much research, the article in Highways sold us. The matress does come with a 4 month trial so if we're dissatisfied we can return it. 3 to 4 week shipping time because apparently the article generated alot of sales. I''ll post again after we've slept on the new matress.

$1299?! Way too much for a foam bed. There are others biult exactly the same way with the same warranties for 1/3 - 1/2 that.

I've found that the words 'bio' or 'eco' in use with memory foam usually means 'made with organic oil' and some have had problems. Not all, but some.

Maybe it's just me being cheap but we bought an 8 inch memory foam mattress from Walmart 2 years ago and put it on top of the factory mattress in the coach our Queen size home sheets fit it perfectly and it sleeps better than our over priced Tempurpedic in the stick house

And, if you must have a mattress that says 'rv', here are some cheaper alternatives:

I just found a top brand memory foam topper (3" I think) at Ross discount store for 89.99 king size! I figure I'll add one of those & an egg crate foam one under it (or two!) til we reach the level of comfort we want before replacing the entire mattress for that kind of $ in the article. JMHO

Buy the select comfort from Camping World. Most comfortable and the lightest weight.

I second the Select Comfort. Have one at home as well as in the MH. Best sleep I have found so far.

Not hard to cut foam mattress to size. I purchased a king sized topper to cut down for two twin sized beds.

Serta makes great ones.. available at Overstock. It is a 'queen', but these things run a little small anyways and you can cut it down more. One thing to look for is 'USA' foam as opposed to 'Chinese' foam. The Chinese ones tend to smell like chemicals...

FYI Foam mattress toppers can be easily cut to size and shape using an electric knife.
